4. NOTES

4.1 Special notes and reports

Many volumes feature dedications to Proferssor Spadoni from the book authors. Some volumes are annotated, underlined, and signed by him; some have a stamp with the owner's name on the title page. Skimming the titles of the texts, one can guess which authors of ancient literature he preferred. It is easy to infer his interdisciplinary curiosity, typical of those who never cease to engage with others and update himself, so next to his working tools (manuals for teaching and translation), materials for learning foreign languages, studies in music, theater, and sacred literature can be found. It is worth noting the interesting first editions and rare editions of works of Latin and Ancient Greek literature.
